I got a good quality Marisa off of wish for $12 plus $5 shipping, but the usual price there is more like $25+$5(just looking now), with the obvious Wish downside that it takes like a month to arrive.

UFOs are really fun, and I'm loving being able to combinate shots in the last game, that's the best thing by far. No if only the release mechanic wasn't so shit

I actually beat the entire demo on hard without know about the sub-bombs the first time I played it

I did that too with Cirno-Autumn, something about how the spread becomes in that combo is very cool but yeah then I learn how the release works and lunatic becomes a joke, what a shame.
If it doesn't get fixed I might stick to Reimu-Spring and Cirno-Summer.

How do these games play using mouse and keyboard? I find it difficult to believe precise movements can be done with WASD or arrow keys without completely over shooting

The games don't support analog movement, so arrow keys is the most precise you're going to get.

The player character moves slower when you hold shift. It's precise enough.

Playing Touhou 9 as my first Touhou and I keep getting stuck on the last stage. It's like stages 7,8 and 9 has really weird difficulty spike and I'm never sure how to do damage. Sometimes the bot just flies in random bullets and dies in a minute, but sometimes the bot hasn't taken any damage after 2 minutes.

I'm pretty bad at the games myself but I've found just trying to survive as long as possible without thinking about the bot's side to work. So basically playing defensively.

My friend wanted to play against me, so when we are not playing, I try to beat the bots.
