I believe immortality build is most popular since his combo was nerfed. Just be annoying. Make people chase you and accomplish nothing. Push down forts and get camps. Plant the egg close to the teamfight and keep fucking them up.

Pick the vision egg and get pufferfish at level 4. You help your team by giving them map hacks and you can instantly clear each minion wave as it comes to you. Play him like Xul and clear 2 lanes while your team ganks. Then at level 10 you can either help with objectives or get solo kills every 30 seconds.

Slime build does pretty obscene damage but most characters have too much mobility these days for it to be worthwhile. You should take it if the other team has a bunch of auto-attackers so you can rush them down with your 75% damage resistance.

vision egg is really good if your team is positioned in a way where the enemy can't get to your egg without dying.

I like playing him on Hanamura and Brexis.

I think playing against Murky is such a soul crushing experience in futility that most people don't bother "hunting" his egg most of the time. And even then assault egg gives it plenty of HP, you can plop another one down while it's under fire and save it before it bursts.
