March almost $50, April right around $50, so far in May I am anticipating (based on how things are going so far) $70 or more. Roughly a book self-published every month. Might not seem like much money right now (though personally I'm hugely grateful that people seem to be taking an interest in my self-published books) but with the rate things are going, I think I might manage to be a full-time writer in 1-2 years.
As for October-February, my first nearly half of a year of being a self-published author... maybe a buck or two a month. Do not go into self-publishing with expectations to make money. I hear most self-published authors make less than $100 in their first year, but by some miracle I made just about that much in 2 months halfway through my first year. Write because you love to write. If you write for money, chances are you'll lose interest quick due to lack of income.

On a side note, rum rocks my world, and I love it for it. I want to make some sauerkraut... you know, all you need is a container, cabbage, and sea salt. Speaking of which, I want to make my own sea salt some day. Just need a fuckload of salt water and a place to boil it. When it gets thick, pour it out into a large pan during hot summer days. You don't want to boil it until it hardens because apparently you'll burn it. So boil it until it gets thick, and let the Sun do the rest. I'll undoubtedly eventually include this in my zombie survival series, though probably not for another several books yet.
Seriously, if anyone else out there wants to write a book, or ESPECIALLY if you've got a book idea in your head that you've just never actually explored and written out... fucking DO it! I did. It was over half a decade of wanting to write a zombie novel before I finally did, and it changed my fucking life. Might not be the same affect on you, but still, the pride I felt when I finally finished that book and self-published it, I'm still feeling it over half a year later.

One of my favorite parts of Katawa Shoujo thus far is the fully animated, beautiful cutscenes that play before the second acts. They do a great job of further characterizing the Katawas, and though I've only seen Lilly's, Hanako's and Emi's once each, they have a very nostalgic feel for them. It's like years from now I'll play KS again, the stories and characters not as fresh in my head as they once were, but the animations and music will waste no time bringing the memories back for me. I'm also loving seeing the picture mural at the title screen grow and grow as I put more time into the game. Paired with Wisona, it never fails to get me in the mood to play some more! Though I do kindly request that everyone keeps both the mural and the animations secret to me, I'm enjoying seeing it come together, and though I know it will form a heart when I have them all, I would like to have the pictures themselves unspoiled. I love this game. I love everything about the game, and I love the community, you guys, being so supportive to me and each other. It's such a tightly-knit group that I'm yet to see on any other board. I'm stretching out my first experience of this game as much as I can, like a fine meal. I'm savoring every bite, which is why I didn't end up finishing it in, say, three days. It's an emotional experience, equally managing to be charming, wholesome and tasteful. I wonder if it's presumptuous to say it's one of my ten favorite games when I'm yet to complete it. I don't know if it's as much presumptuous as it is a sincere compliment, though I'll be sure to actually finish it before I give it that designation. Does Kenji have an animation for his route? Are there only six to look forward to?

No animation for Kenji, since there is no act 2. Only 5 in total, but they're all top quality. Sorry bud.
Most of the cutscenes are even bigger tear jerkers after you finish the route and can appreciate all the foreshadowing.
There is one in the beginning, in the hospital with the IV drop, though I don't appreciate it as much as the others. Too bad Kenji doesn't have one, or that there isn't one big one for when you complete every route.
