You know what I just fucking realized?

You know what I just fucking realized?

Starting a business and having some success is WAY easier than forming a rock band and having some success.

Seriously, have you ever stopped to think about this? Forming a fucking rock band and becoming successful is even HARDER than starting a successful business

>Seriously, have you ever stopped to think about this?
I've spent decades thinking about it.

you're not digging deep enough yet.
If you look into it you'll find that some businesses are WAY easier to succeed in than others.

there are millions more wealthy carpet cleaning guys than there are people selling retail on the internet. It's WAY easier to succeed by hanging drywall than it is by inventing new technology. You are WAY more likely to get rich with an excavation company than a restaurant. There are far more wealthy lawyers, doctors, and dentists than there are wealthy investors. You're WAY more likely to get rich renting real estate than dropshipping.

How people get rich is readily available data that can easily be found on the internet and numerous government websites. Veeky Forums doesn't like that information much though.

>There are far more wealthy lawyers, doctors, and dentists than there are wealthy investors.

Akshually, just to be autistically accurate, many wealthy lawyers doctors and dentists are investors, it's just not what made them rich, but it keeps them richer than if they weren't. Its just smart money management.

most wealthy people are also investors, you don't let cash sit around.

what makes doctors, dentists and lawyers rich isn't investment, it's owning or partnering in their own firm. Business ownership.

It's not a coincidence that almost all independently wealthy people own businesses. Investing is just what they do with their money. It certainly makes them MORE rich, but it's not generally the first cause.

Unless we count investing in a business you solely own as investing, which isn't really true.

Dude.

At age 22 I read Andy Rooney's book "Not That you Asked". In the book he has a section on people choosing careers and dream careers vs. normal careers. He talks about 2 people, one wants to become an actor and the other an accountant. He says to the two guys, "You see we need a lot of accountants, thousands of them, so you won't have to compete that hard to become one of these accountants, you won't need to be that great, but we only have room for maybe a couple hundred great actors. So among the thousands of people who want to be an actor you have to work much harder and be much better. So the point I'm making is that a regular career is gonna be much easier to attain and hold. The dream career will actually be much more work."

interesting.

Genius!

There are millions of "aspiring" actors.

honestly if you play in a rock band the first thing you need is some objective idea of how good you are

but then again theres that old paradox....if you knew how much you sucked then you wouldnt suck

>get a job
>play at the investing casino
>get rich or not due luck

Yeah. Thats why i got a dean bass and rumble 25 with less than 2 hours on it.

Its why i tan a trucking business at cost for a year trying to make it a mild sucess

Because it has credible documentation to back it up. And requires actual work.

Lol. I dont like it either, but i know the truth. My buddy get 150 an hour to run his dozer. I had a dump truck and was having trouble getting $75 a load. Takes average 2 hours per load and more work going through 20 gates. Mfw i could and have spent 80 hours a week in a hoe digging ponds.

Now, how to into 600,000 dollar hoe... ;(

Yup. Just sell out to the point you van live a descent life and go on about your day.

Not a big fan of windshield time in equipment. But it pays good. Got heater. And i have rolled around in mud and ice for half this pay. Can also do this until my death bed.

Meh. Not the most fun but its comforting knowing i can get a job in any 1st world country

>Starting a business and having some success is WAY easier than forming a rock band and having some success.
No shit. There are dozens if not hundreds of successful entrepreneurs for every person who makes a good living performing original rock music.

I thought everyone knew this? Its obvious.

What resources would you recommend to find out more about this?

Online retail still hasn't broken out yet if you can believe it.

In 2016 we hit 22% of americans who shop online rat least monthly. Compare that to 65% of chinese shoppers. Online sales still account for less than 15% of the total market of America.

There is still a ton of room for growth for online business, at the cost of physical retail sectors.

Is anyone gonna step up and actually do something for this coin?

If I lived near hwndu I would have shilled so much by now, what are you doing Americans?

>drop out of highschool
>be a fucking NEET for years
>start a small business feb 2016 expecting it to hardly get by if not fail embarrassingly hard
>wind up making 136K by the end of the year

It's so fucking easy

Life is awesome

Could you elaborate more on your small business? I'm interested to hear how you made such a huge transformation in life.

I don't want to say too much of what I'm doing, not that it's anything illegal, but I don't want competition, ya dig?

I buy a particular kind of food which there is a niche big still very considerable demand for wholesale and I sell it online at a nice profit. I sell at considerably less than what other people are willing to sell this food for while still making a lot of fucking money. I've also received death threats on multiple occasions from these sellers because they can hardly compete.

so you make money undercutting the market? Dont get comfortable, if you can undercut their earnings and still get a cool 100k a year, they can do the same to you.

Robbin niggas iz even easier din dat, still.

Why erry'one ain't doin it is the real fuckin mystery to me. Simple as fuck. Dy wondering how I'm count'n dem benjis when dey workin' at Starcux braggin about tip jar money.

Bitch? Tip jar money? I'm rolling nickles on dat tip jar money. I put dat tip jar money there.

Fucking coffe stands. You get coffe literaly everywhere, yet pretty much everybody is so addicted that no matter where you place it, you make money.

>Not making your rock band a successful business

Do you even understand how easy it is to make money in music these days? In your one band you have

A youtube channel will direct links to a specific dynamic
Endless services online that will promote your act (for a cost, of course) but also actively seek endorsements and exposure for you
You literally have your own clothing line and business
You can establish a brand built around not even the music but the "culture" of your band

This thread is why Veeky Forums is shit.

>DAE just realise I can't really become an astronaut?

Is the local primary school having a field day again?

>DAE
Leddit is calling you back

>start a new business (Limited Liability Company)
>get foreign capital over 1 million dollars
>pay yourself 1 million dollars as salary
>file for bankruptcy for your company
>pic related is the bank's face
>???
>profit

>what is fraud
>what is piercing the corporate veil
It's almost like nobody before you had a similar idea

That's fraud tho
They money belongs to the corporation and you generally can't just set your own salary willy nilly

Yes. Currently looking at a guitar with 2 hours on it and a 7 foot stack of /biz reading...

Is that uncle ponzi?

Wonder how his last scheme worked ou...
