Help me out here, I'm probably just overthinking this but it's been bothering me.

When you are dealing with Futaba's dungeon, she doesn't reply when you guys are at the door. Makoto points out that maybe she doesn't like her name and calls her Alibaba instead, which gets a response. So, apparently Futaba does not like her name.

After you've sent the calling card, Futaba enters her own palace with the metaverse app and stutters on her name. In English, this comes out as Fu- Futaba Sakura. However, since in Japanese family name comes first, she instead says Sa- Sakura Futaba.

So why exactly does Futaba not like her name? I don't recall this ever being brought up again. In jp it sounds like it's because her family name, Sakura, is not her real name and being reminded of that, and in turn her mother, is painful for her. But if that's the case then the english dub is wrong because it makes it seem like her given name is the problem. Someone please tasukete onegai
