when I play with gold friends on my diamond account we get matched into ~2600 games and the difference between that and ~3400 is night and day. Mechanical skill is about the same but gamesense and positioning is abysmal.

Then why do people who get paid to play this game use mccree? They don't __always__ pick mccree, but then again they don't __always__ use 76.

McCree has better burst damage and has a CC ability while 76 has better sustained damage and mobility. This tradeoff of burst vs sustain is shown in their ults too. While 76 is a consistent source of damage, Mccree is burst damage that requires a charge.

Depends on the team comp. I'm mostly just memeing but it's better to main Ana, Zen, or Lucio and then sometimes play Mercy instead of the other way around since Ana, Zen, and Lucio have skills that transfer to other heroes while being good at Mercy just means you're good at Mercy.

Dive comp shits all over barrier meta desu
No amount of barriers can stop Winston and Genji or Tracer from jumping your backline and raping your healers.

Talon is the Generic Bad Guy group. Their main colors seem to be black and red, with white helmets that look like skulls. Since Widowmaker doesn't wear a helmet, the designers probably just wanted to incorporate the gray some other way. I don't think it looks bad, the design is solid, but in such a colorful game like Overwatch it does fall a little flat.

As for Reaper, pretty sure he just wears black because he's an edgelord. He isn't officially with Talon, but seems to work with them very closely. I think his color scheme and Talon's matching was a coincidence.

Reaper isn't part of Talon. He's a mercenary who often works with them.
Being good at Zen requires being able to aim projectiles, having good positioning on the map, having good awareness, and being able to clearly communicate with your team.
Being good at Mercy requires good positioning in relation to your team, having good awareness, and knowing when to heal or damage boost.
Zen's style of positioning and awareness as well as mechanical skill is more transferable to other heroes than Mercy's.

Why do you think Reaper isn't "officially" part of Talon? Do you think Widow and Sombra are?

Usually winston as maintank + optional zarya/dva as off tanks

Mobile dps: tracer/genji/soldier/sombra (I also think reaper+widow work well too but thats besides the point)

Mobile healers: lucio/mercy
Burst damage and focusfire: ZENYATTA

Pick a immobile target that can be quickly killed.
Good targets:

Quickly focus fire the rest of their team down in order of quickest and most impactful kills first

Because his bio says that he's an independent mercenary. Talon probably hires him on for important operations, like the Museum job and Volskaya's attempted assassination, but he still has his own agendas. Sombra seems to have hooked into Talon to use their resources to advance her own agenda, whatever that might be. And we know why Widowmaker is part of Talon.
