I noticied some pictures in which an item decription shows the mod it came from, is it another mod or is it an option in the game ?

Are the NPCs that "randomly" spawn, like the Goblin Tinkerer, really random? It seems like I run into them pretty quickly (and pretty often) considering I play in large worlds. Is the RNG actually just deciding when it's going to spawn near you?

Things can only ever spawn near you anyway.

I'm new to the game and on my first playthrough. My current hideout is unimaginative and filling up fast.

Terraria always pulls me back in. Usually its when an update hits, this time it's mods with friends.
And Hollow Knight's FotM status seems to be over for now. Maybe when the DLC hits it'll bring back some discussion and better artists.

You can build whatever you want. but I would advise against building for NPCs too high up, you're gonna regret it once you hit hardmode.

I am on hardmode currently and just killed Destroyer. Would putting NPCs in the sky make them extra vulnerable to bosses?

Dashes should be standard, and gear should provide up-down mobility.

I'd like some proper endgame throwing gear.
They gave it its own damage type and two early game armor sets, why not go whole hog with it?

What I'd like from the next update is a healer/buffer class to become a thing. I've heard that it wouldn't have much of a point due to the game having more of a base as a single-player game, but it still would be a nice thing to have

defiled is fine as long as she retains her body type, personality, and other attributes. turning her into a fat pig is wrong.

how do i make it so any teleporter can press an arbitrary button and arrive at the correct floor? ex: i want F4 and F3 to be able to press the same button and arrive at F2.

You really don't even need an active button for the first floor on the first floor anyway, so it shouldn't be an issue.

oh yeah now i remember. it's because i wouldn't have enough colors to wire every switch.
is the wiki lying when it says i can have the same color on either end of the teleporter but wire it to two different destinations?

I manage to make a four floor elevator, but the wiring is kind of a mess. Not sure I could do five.

wow that is a mess. i'm guessing you could probably make a relatively arbitrary number of floors elevator if you had the patience to use junction boxes. thanks for showing me that.

here is the old thing i was trying to make progress on. now that i know it's possible, i'll get around to it eventually, but i should probably fix the other non-functional parts before i do that.

Actually, I cleaned it up. It looks a lot better now. Working on a 5 floor one using that button arrangement, but it's proving troublesome. I think the odd number of floors causes some issues, too.
