I'm hoping they'll get a really nice campaign mechanic that has nothing to do with the vortex but instead makes owning all of Ulthuan a chore equal to that of uniting Norsca (maybe by having to complete quest battles in order to get between regions and contact other HE factions) to really drive home the decadent race beset by chaos characterisation from lore. CA has been great with campaign mechanics, so I'm betting on them being the main selling point of #2.
