The pop system is very complex,they already have a page about it on the M&T wiki already but its not very complete.

How do you actually join these? I tried entering the IP but it just says "game can not be found."

have the same checksum, make sure you typed the IP in right. if it's still not working then your firewall is probably blocking the game
or you need to open some ports

I don't have any firewalls, it just isn't working. What do you mean by open ports?

The number of pops and some other informations in a province is visible as soon as you click it,to see the rest of the stuff you'll need to click on submenus.

M&T pops are a mixture of provincial modifiers, re-skinned development, backstage calculations, and events. It's impossible to add a completely new window to EU4 without an expansion pack, so what they did was use added buttons hacked seamlessly into the provincial windows, which open up a very detailed event window with options for every piece of info you can imagine.

The M&T devs said that they can't create a completely new window for pops (like you see in V2), and also said that provincial cultural minorities will not be simulated due to religion being more important in this time period.

What do? I have no idea how to divide up the 40+ titles I now have. Plus I really don't want to be constantly bogged down with Jihad bullshit because it distracts from my ambitions to become King of Ireland. Should I keep Jerusalem or just ditch it? If I wanted to ditch it, what would be the best way of going about it?

How stupid are you? Just split each county up to someone of your culture/religion and then assign the guy who likes you the most or in charge of the most populous province as a duke.

If you want to completely let go of the title without console, you need to switch your primary title to another kingdom and grant someone the land in Jerusalem and then give him the kingship title.

Grant it to people with good stats. Not more than 1 county per person. Then give the best count the duchy. Keep as much as you can for yourself.

Also make sure the people you grant land to are always landless nobodies. Also try to get at least one duke with each statistic at 15+ so you can have a good council.

Obviously make sure they have your culture and religion.

Right click non-capital holdings and create new vassals until just the capitals remain.

Go into character finder and find adult married men within diplomatic range who are your culture and relgion. Give them each 1 county and keep one or more for yourself if you want.

It's like you've never fought 15 holy wars at once or something.

First go to every single "wrong holding type" barony (you can cycle by clicking the alert button), right click the barony and spawn a new courtier
