About 4400

J30A1
6500 rpm rev limiter
have only honda that doesnt rev high

Tach says 7k but I think there's an internal limit that'll stop your ass at 7.5k

p sad pham. Still a good engine tho

7200

tfw no tach

Does it start where the red dashes start or when it turns into a solid line?

>4 cylinder
>redline is 6000
>peak power is 4300
>peak torque is 3500

kek I miss revs even if it was slower

The redline is where you hit the rev limiter.

around 5800. I never really have to go past 2500 on my commute, low end torque for days.

5000

>6500
>Peak power at 6000
>Peak torque at 3600

thats wrong

my redline is 6000 but my limiter isnt until 6200

11,000 RPM

Redline doesn't refer to the literal red line on your cluster.

7.5k

yes it does

redline is when youre past the recommended rpm range
fuel cut or whatever method of rpm limiting is a different thing

shit like a D16Z6 for example

Redline: 7,200 rpm
Fuel cut: 7,400 rpm

>tripfags

>autistic retards

>Redline, n. v., to reach or pass the maximum designed rpm of an engine

>The actual term redline comes from the red bars that are displayed on tachometers in cars starting at the rpm that denotes the redline for the specific engine.

sorry but just about every engine made can go past fuel cut if you change the settings

So what you're saying is that I'm right? Thanks.

Glorious LS2

nope

youre the retard who thinks redline has to do with fuel cut

just lmao

>tripfag can't admit he was wrong

I shiggy diggy

stopped reading right there

>t. Honda driver
There's some diesels out there that'll pass you like you're chained to a tree, but they don't rev out much, are they suddenly not performance engines by virtue of your ignorant blanket statement?

Why do I want one so much.

What do you drive user?

6000 cos diesel
it sounds like a steam boat when it gets up their

...

17000 because yamaha
inb4 NOT A CAR

i think the corvette and the camaro redline at 6900 due to higher displacement

ur incorrect.

What car is that? I love the look of the dash.

tach says 6500 but I have fuel cut set to 7200
>tfw no power under 4500

guess my car!

do regular (non sports car) automatics allow you to redline?

Stock was set at 7k
Window switch is set at 7350
New limit in the tune is set at 7500(so i wont hit rev limit while spraying)

6400

Can I trade, my mr2 should have had that engine con the factory

Miata.

It's whatever the computer is programmed to shift at. Sometimes yes.

Redline overall is an artificial number. You can go past it rarely, your engine will break really fast holding it at redline. By the time you reach redline, peak horsepower and torque went away long before.

>>rx7
>>wut redline
wank m@ster8ce

older tachometer have an orange section before the red line
it is kind of large and is the max rpm to be used until water temperature and oil pressure stabilise

newer cars have a much smaller section that seems just to be nominal rpm suggestion
as the efi will limit rpm till the engine warms up anyway

Nope, German

You can have my engine if I can have your mr2

How so? It looks like stitching.

1997 F-150 XLT. Somehow doesn't have a redline. Probably has a limiter though, no clue where.

C30A, 8000rpm rev limit.

I like LS engines as much as the next guy but my god that cluster is such shit, econoboxes from the 90s had better looking clusters than that.

6900
J30A4

did not know
thanks

t. aw11 dash up above

>tfw car doesn't even have tachometer

7200 rpm.

>4800 redline
>peak torque at 2000

Diesel master race here

7.8k. Redlined once for 2 seconds and the gas pedal got mushy for some reason. Never doing that shit again.

6200 rpm looks like it on this one

Redline 17,500rpm

5700 rpm on this one i think

8000rpm here. Peak power at 7600 (Integra GS-R)

Feels good man

hah

Thats fucking sick. Explain how you get that trip meter rpm mod plz

11000 rpm

Go home Takumi, no one wants to race you.

6500 RPM redline.....1.5 L 4cyl

0-60 in like 11 seconds ......

motorcycle.

what part of "car" don't you retards understand? fuck off to your containment thread.

>cars can't reach 15k rpm
Okay boss

Not one of those anons, but I posted my car, then later I posted my bike.

2 wheels too many

Rpmlet reporting
>'02 Hyundai Accent 1.5L: 6000rpm
>'87 Mercedes 300td turbo: ~5000? (The tach shows up to 6000, but doesn't show an actual redline so idk)

6500, but nothing happens beyond 5500rpm so it's pointless to go there

No clue.
I hear it's so slow it can't hit it

Redline at 6500
Peak power at 5800
Peak torque at 3400

Only 10500 rpm
Yes, motorcycle
