I'd be a car sitting on an insurance auction lot. Almost new, but fucked up in a bad way. When it first wound up there, it was completely certain that it would be picked up and fixed back new again soon, but now its been sitting there in that same spot for a long, long while. It doesn't have much time left before the company sends it to the crusher now, and that hope of being fixed again that was once so strong is now only a faint memory. However, there is still a chance. A chance of a chance, that if its even possible for it to be fixed, before it goes to the crusher, it will be picked up again and fixed just like it hoped for so long ago. All it can do now is sit there and wait until one of those ends come to pass.
