But where are my screens and my starry headliner? Garbage

>thinking Detroit's bargain bin luxury can beat the real deal
Look at that joke of a car in the OP, they can't even bother to make exclusive door panels and rear windows for the LWB version.

While I agree that the Lincoln looks like an upscale cab, that's literally the interior design equivalent of vapenation.

More like
>american
>luxury

>lights throughout car
>good looking interior
pick one. It looks like a high school redneck who glues light strips all over his truck to try and show off

>those headrests
if you're around 5 ft 8 to 5 ft 10 these make your chin touch your chest when seated upright

what's the point of such cars. To enjoy it, you must go on a long trips with it, but ppl who have money for such cars won't bother, they will just buy plane tickets.

I love when manufacturers show off their "legroom" when they have both the driver and passenger seat pushed foward to midget mode.

Show me a 6'4" dude in the driver and passenger seat. Let's check out the legroom then.

The same reason it's 6,000 lb and has a v12 engine, some people enjoy wasting money

Is that you rimjob?
Why are brit trips trying to take over this board

why is his upper body so much larger than his lower body

He's wearing a suit jacket

they're retracted down in that photo. they can pop up.

i was referring to the front seats

The Japanese do it best.

>nearly 20 years old Town car
How gaudy

Is that even a LWB, or will you bump your shins on the front seats all the time?

>lemme just go into recliner mode

A bad fitting off the rack jacket.

>this guy again
Those door cards are just nasty.

The German always surpass all expectations.

New Audi A8:
>Best Seat Massagers: 16 small bubble-shaped air bladders in each front seat, 18 bladders in each back seat, up to 7 psi pressure, and seven massage programs with three intensity levels
>Twin-Smell Perfume Dispenser: Because choosy plutocrats can never be satisfied by a single fragrance option and can’t be bothered to swap in a different fragrance on the run, Audi’s Air Quality Package builds in two smell choices: sea breeze or mountain air. Air is also ionized, making it attract dust into clumps that fall to the floor.
>Heated Armrests: Mercedes wasn’t going to stay ahead of Audi on this one.

Today we learned... you lack style.

These doors are not just demonstrating an intricate level of detailed craftsmanship, they're simply stunning.

youtu.be/7s2R44wst7E

Will car manufactures ever make cooled seats? Instead of heating everything.
I prefer living in 16°C with cooled everything.

They're just gaudy. Fucking horrendous.

They're art.

It being art doesn't make it look nice.

How are those forward folding passenger seats even legal? It's completely blocking the driver's vision through the passenger window and onto the passenger side mirror.

you can do it in new Audi A8 and other German ones.

>What is ventilated air seat

New A8 is a first car to have the heated armrests. Others will copy this.

>It's completely blocking the driver's vision through the passenger window and onto the passenger side mirror.

Not completely. More like 80+% visible.

Yeah actually now that I'm looking again he looks like a kid wearing his dad's jacket

They might have designed it so you see over the seat as a driver, only having that screen.

They look some insect nests.

So is literal shit on a canvas, i still wouldn't buy it.

Ventilated seats have been a thing for a while and are fairly common in higher end trims.

s class had it years ago

You wont be able to afford it. Dont worry.

Looking at those leather covers made me threw up a little
>back seats are wavy and wrinkled
>front seats are deformed/ loose and don't fit, sewing lines are wavy
The fake wood trim and overall cheap materials aside, this is a press/ photoshot car, they should show there best

You can have those in 5-series and upwards, doesn't work really well tho

Audi A8 got it first. The heated armrests in back seat.

Just imagine that you're the driver in that situation and the guy's feet smell like garbage.

kek... Its Twin-Smell Perfume Dispenser will take care of it.

Ahh the luxurious aroma of dirty feet and perfume

What a gimmick, who cares

Are those screen even necessary, everyone has a phone/tablet/laptop.

>suit-costume.jpg
It's a halloween costume.. of a suit...

>wanting to hold your entertainment in your hands while consuming it
Spotted the manual labor pleb.

Then stop being a manlet

Maybe it's just a translation? Kostyum in russian means suit

I would have posted the Continental but I don't believe they have a Limo version of it. Yet. So here the Navigator.

>concept

If you hate it so much, why bother responding?

In the 90's?
r-right?

AMERICA lead way on luxury before everyone else.

more like 00's

>land yacht

I love it, but its interior is purely American. Again, it is not best as German ones. That's good. The American one is all about comfy and simple, not sophisticated.

Nope.
ps. This bad boy right here has served Mao Zedong and it's comrades.

Very much relevant itt.

The merc interior looks garish

Who cares, these will all be gone in 15 years anyway. The mobile lounge is exactly the market Tesla wants to takeover with self driving cars, and there is nothing rich people love more than virtue signalling about stuff they actually don't give a shit about. That's why Volvo is trying to go electric.

>n popular political context, the 600 has long been associated with totalitarianism

>Karen Carpenter

>reading comprehension

>Famous owners of the 600 have included

I didn't ask for a picture of your dad in the back of a car, manly tear

Tesla interiors are utter shit though, rich people still care more about being comfortable than virtue signalling unless they're ultra-libtards

>parts bin door handles off a 12 year old Ford Five Hundred
Can't make this shit up lmao

The leather looks like it came from a Dacia Duster.

Such is Ford. Their $500k ultra limited hyper car shares the headlight rotary switch with the Ford Focus.

Yeah, Ford jewed them so hard.

savage

Milkin' that boomer money, well played ford

it's a good switch, to be fair

VW has that kind of switch for more than 28 years.

Ford just ripped them off.

It's not like they tried to hide it at all, it even shares the exact same functions than in my Ford Focus '13. I bet you could unscrew it from my car and screw it back on a GT with no issues. The only difference is that the graphic for the trunk release is different.

I remember old american cars have column mounted light switch...

>Old american cars
You every fucking car ever around the world?

They can be found anywhere. I just glanced them and rode on my friend's old Malibu (1996).

>what is car show
>what is classic car show

nuff said

What does car show/classic car show have to do with column switches?

My turd gen has a switch you pull out to turn the lights on, and turn clockwise for the dome light. Even older burger cars (like 60s and 70s) have the high beam as a switch you press with your left foot.

You can't really compare a maybach to a new generation like 40k car desu

Nice turd gen senpai. Iroc z?

That pic wasn't mine, but it's an 82 Z28. 305 4 barrel with a 4 speed manual, 4 wheel discs and a posi rear.

I was going to guffaw at the 305 (jokingly, I'm not an asshole) but your car is in such good condition that it doesn't really matter. I'm sure it's fun to drive.

Thanks, it really is fun to drive, I love every second of it. At this point it doesn't matter what numbers it puts out, it puts a smile on my face and sounds great and that's all it needs to do for me. I've got the awful pellet type cat removed, so the exhaust is basically straight piped minus the two resonators. Really needs front struts but it's not my DD so I've been putting it off.

Currently deciding what I want to do with the engine, it could use a reseal and a new cam but I'd rather sink that money into an LS1/T56 for it. That and I don't know if I want to stay carbed or dick around with a wiring harness and ECU for the fuel injection.

MY advice is stay carbed. In the long run unless you plan on racing it, it's just not worth dicking around with computers with your current engine. You could just get a flat tappet for like 300 bucks off of summit for a cam lol. Also maybe consider 350 swapping it or something? I hate to say >wasted but an ls1 in a turd gen would just cost so much money

Lt1 swap would be neat though I think. AND not nearly as expensive

>Front seats nearly vertical
>Way forward

>headrests
that's not what they're for

>those fucking shoes
>that shitty water bottle looking completely out of place
>that carpet
lmao

This, I have to agree with the statement as a yuro , I dont know what the hell were you doing in the 90s though.

The navigator has different switchgears

I drive an S Class and that looks tacky as fuck

You can buy an LS430 for under $10k with ventilated seats

this is embarrassing, even for american standards

>darude sandstorm is required to be playing at all times for it to run
>it plays faster as the car goes faster

Going thru my own beta-male phase

Jesus, it's a glamour shot and they couldn't even get the carpet straight, holy shit they suck

...

nice hearse
also beat me to it

And yet it won Le Mans with truck/eco box parts.
Specially built euro parts can't keep up with US truck parts. You should be embarrassed

It's a shoop, look at the distance from the legs to the seat divider

>And yet it won Le Mans
it didn't

>that double pillar
what an awful stretch job
