idea for new game mode: flag attack (fa)

30 seconds after the round starts, a neutral flag spawns in one of 3 neutral locations of the map which are just as easy to get to for both teams
you have to bring it to the enemy's base to cap
after the cap, there is a 10 second delay before the next flag spawns

why 3 locations: this way you cant camp the flag and turn the game into you having control over the flag and enemy having to defend tirelessly
the element of randomness adds more interest to the game and you have to use your brain which position is the best to be at and gets rid of turtling (at least in the middle)
also defending a flag like in normal ctf (where you have to spend 1 minute for the timer to run out) is gone and you can just grab it and push

i have no clue how to balance the game so one team wont just take the flag, run back to their base, and then turtle with engineers and wait for the enemy to make a move and mess up, because i remember this being a problem in a similar gamemode where there was only one neutral spawnpoint
the game was only 2 rounds and yet it lasted 40 something minutes, in which both teams played extremely passively because there was no other way

i guess banning engineer (or at least every wrench but gunslinger) would solve it but the community is going to be sad they can play their favourite stand-and-hit-your-buildings man

Is it just me or has the aimbotting in this game gotten alot worse? I was just in a game of koth_Nucleus where there were three snipers on my team aimbotting. I haven't played in a while so maybe it was just some seriously bad luck on my end but goddamn that was disheartening.

You are a retard, most hackers are on throwaway accounts, not for the sake of K/D or looking good (is there even a casual leaderboard or way of viewing other's casual stats?) They literally just do it to incite a reaction, no it's not an "excuse," of which can fulfill an array of things within a hacker. It can give them the attention that they're lacking (negative attention is still attention) or power over others that they otherwise don't have in real life, the drive to have this possibly stemming from someone else or a situation making themselves feel powerless in real life, all with minimal cost. Valve doesn't ban alternate accounts.

I get that you're trying to call out hackers as losers but your basis is completely unfounded and very minimal amounts of people hack to seem "good" on these non-existent leaderboards because in the long run, they're going to get banned anyways. Valve doesn't ban immediately to prevent the further development of hacking tools at an accelerated rate, which is both good and bad.

I never really meet any meds better than, near, or on par with me so minus the map awareness. I find medic mains that still dabble in all the other classes to be pretty good though, but there seems to be this thing where the furry classes (med, pyro, sniper) always act like passive-aggressive, holier-than-thou fedoras, but that may just be my strange stereotype of them.

medic is the third easiest class behind sniper and spy

no idea, fun fact though, when i go to the item equip page theris only one of them as apposed to there being two in my inventory.
