The group except Ouma depending on Saihara to get answers is not at all a good thing and they actually kind of pick on him in the NWP, and that comes to a head at the end of the chapter when Saihara discovers firsthand you don't have to be an ass like Ouma to get on the bad side of others, all you need is to expose the truth that no one likes.

It's her usual "trying to find anything to hate about Saihara" rants. Earlier she bitched about how the group praises Saihara so much. For example, if Saihara praised Himiko for something, then the group would instead go "No Saihara, you're the amazing one!" which got Jess mad for no reason.
