When Jaal finds that his species is artificial, his initial reaction is numb confusion. But he moves on very quickly, goes in awe, ecstatic about their future "beyond the kett war" and so on. His reaction seems programmed in such a way that he doesn't see Jardaan as a possible enemy. His usual emotional range misbehaves here. At least that's how I interpreted it.

Honestly the whole suicide mission was great.

Wishful thinking, but I think it would have been neat for it to have been more fleshed out so it's either kind of like an explorable zone you work your way through while commanding all your groups or else letting you switch manual control between groups/specialists in each segment (meaning actually controlling a squadmate and not Shepard 100% of the time).

They boosted its damage a lot in the last update. So yeah I think it was intended.

I mean it does so much damage that honestly it wouldn't make sense to use another gun.

It's only drawback is the low ammo capacity but I barely run into that problem by always camping by an ammo-crate.
