The games are peer to peer, the server is only used to find games other people are hosting. Just find out where other yuropoors are playing and don't join a game if you've got a shitty connection to the guy.

I am a newcomer to player vs. player Starcraft. While I understand the idea of early build orders, my play tends to break down if the match goes on for any period of time beyond the first few fights. How can I work on midgame strengths? I used to play Protoss back in the WoL days and I am trying to get back in the saddle before trying out player vs. player again.
