No, thats just some delusion lower level and lower skill players have: higher SR people didn't get boosted by a bunch of people then solo queue as attack torb for the luls.

In fact, in GM the team with a duo of triple team usually loses unless both teams have them. Most top 500 games i watch also don't have players teaming up very often.

I've asked it before, why do lower level players think queueing up with people makes climbing easier? Playing friends is fun, sure but isn't some secret to climbing.

Pharah has a relationship with her father. Ana contacted family before taking on the "Shrike" alias about the fact she is alive. Both Pharah and her father know Ana is alive.

Considering the fact that both worked in very different jobs they likely lived apart. Ana's involvement in Overwatch had her traveling around the world. Pharah likely did not travel with her mother hopping from base to base if she describes her own room having a poster of Reinhardt on it.
She probably lived in one of the bases, or more than likely with her father and would visit a nearby Overwatch base often "growing up around heroes" as her mother mentions.

The scandal with Overwatch probably made it impossible for Ana to keep in contact with Pharah's father. Being a public servant, it would have been detrimental to his career to be involved with the allegations Overwatch was facing. That was what finally drove them apart in the end, combined with the distance and struggle of Pharah wanting to follow in her mother's footsteps.

Remember, Pharah's entire character revolves around her parents. They were decided on when she was made and they are crucial to her character. This is not new. Ana is still in love with this man, just like Amelia is still in love with Gerard. And they will get back together again. (eventually)
