Gee, I wonder why a racecar is less useful at a standing start sprint. It's almost as if racecars only have to start once in a race. This applies especially to the ACR, which is designed for track records that don't even involve standing starts. Proper racecars are designed with very closely spaced gearing that completely disregards a standing start.

Meanwhile, the 911 is specifically designed to excel at 0-60 sprints, because that is exactly what you want to feel in a daily driver. It's one of Porsche unique USP's, and it's something the 911 has always been good at exactly because of the RR layout: more weight over the rear axle. When Ferdinand Porsche gave his engineers lemons (a retarded layout), they made a damn good lemonade out of it.
