Most people assumed that Capcom intended for claw-on Vega to be a grounded poking character, and so were confused when Capcom once again declined to improve his deficient grounded poking game. In reality, by adding juggles off of walldive, improving walldive damage, and oki pressure only, they've shown that their vision for claw-on Vega is a pure meme character who opts out of footsies entirely.
