Post LS swaps
using a car engine for a plane sounds like a really really bad idea
This thread will go well.
LS fags are stupid enough to do it
Daily reminder 1UZ is the only FAA certified car engine to be used for flying.
Some mad man did a swap and got them to verify it apparently.

8 coils >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 2 mags

wonder how hard it is to change the plugs on that
>non redundant ignition>redundant ignition
lsfags are really dumb
>not boosted
its not
now the fact air cooled vw and corvair engines are popular is the scary thing
Possibly easier than a flat six.
Subaru EA81s are pretty popular for recreational aircraft.
delet this

You know a engine is shitty when you swap in another engine with twice the displacement and you're left with more room to work.
>F/R balance - all/none
all the torque steer
Same guy?
I felt this way with the 2 LS1 swapped MX5's an a workmates-uncles 1UZ supercharged w/ 200shot of NO2.
Can't find the pic now, fucking annoying.
Featured a couple pages in the local rag but nothing is showing up. The worst part is that the LS1 is only a few lbs heavier than the stock iron 1.6 donk.
>Pulls out block of torque steer
Would sir like some grated torque steer? Say when.

S-sir?
They're fine as long as you don't plan on flying upside down and if you have enough baffling in the oil sump or some other system set up to protect against low oil pressure
Not that hard on a flat 6, at least in a Porsche
Well then, I stand corrected. I always thought the headers would be a pain in the ass.
Headers are even easier! They hang underneath the engine with nothing in the way
Still would love an LS in my car though, shit would be mental
Reminder the LS is inferior to the Ford Modular
>all that effort
>puts an SU carb on it
what did he mean by this?
LS4 swaps should be for Fieros only
please tell me this thing works
Only problem for me is the 90 degree.
you know the car manufacturer is shitty when you can spank them with small displacement truck engine that has turbos slapped on
