Most Underrated Honda
Most underrated and greatest NSX

...

...

i miss suzuki

...

if they actually made more of these i guess it would be top tier in jdm

That's some good bait

...

>Cheap
>Powerful
>Reliable
>Good handling

>Gets a shit ton of hate just because its a ''boomer's car'' hurr durr

Yeah no. I am being completely honest. This car is super underrated. It's a better RX-7 which you can daily.

...

C4 ZR1

>tfw I didn't know that the new NSX had a single fan.

Besides it being MUH BOOMER CARRR, I think everyone agrees it's one of the best performance bargains, especially with the aftermarket it has. Same goes for the LS1 F-bodies

>monoleaf suspension

It does have a singular leaf but it's not even close to actual monoleaf suspension. The transverse leaf that the Corvette uses is a sway bar, not the same as a leaf being your actual springs. Using a leaf for your sway bar is lighter and allows for more independent travel than a conventional sway bar setup. Volvo now uses the same setup on the new XC90.

>Suspension matters when you are high on cocaine

If it's such a great idea then why do literally no sports cars use it anymore, only a 5,100lb truck uses it

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corvette_leaf_spring#Applications

Plenty of other vehicles have used it. They probably still use it just because it's cheaper to keep making this how they have been, since changing over to a conventional sway bar would require retooling of the factory that they wouldn't have to otherwise, same for why manufacturers that don't use it aren't switching over to it because they'd have to retool for little benefit.

Can't say for sure though, I'm not GM. Would be a good question to ask on a tour of the Bowling Green factory though.

Someone needs to remind the weaboos about US superiority.

I really like the look of C4's but I always hear about how shit they are

this

Ugh first gen

>Post a more unreliable car

fix'd

The back is definitely the worse looking part of this car. It's really sad.

redline is 9000

Still better than the Stealths window spoiler

Seconded

This car became OVERrated the second it was approved for production

And it was rated quite low to begin with by nearly everyone unfortunate enough to come across it

Fuck I miss Mitsubishi cars. Now all they literally make is the shitty crossover

...

This is the answer. The hate that this car gets is unbelievable because of the engine update. Still faster to 100, 130 and the 1/4 mile than the most overrated car, the RS. Depending on the review, faster to 60 too.

Plus every review talks about how much more fun it is than anything else. Just "muh 10 year old EJ" and it's immediately discredited.

Shit car

The C4 ZR1 was a different animal. Overhead cam V8 designed by Lotus. I believe it holds an endurance record to for a production car for running at 170mph for 24 hours or something.

k

1,000,000% this

I've offroaded this and you will never have more fun in your life. No it can't climb the rocks like a TJ but it's like being in a dune buggy with an air conditioned interior

I can't. I was looking up random 3000GT videos on youtube and it only made me want it more

>excuse me what the fuck.jpg
Why is there only 1 exhaust pipe on the left?

I used to have an SX4, not the one pictured, but it was great little car. Gas mileage was kinda shit for such a small car and it had lame engine, but it was reliable, handled well, and an absolute beast in the snow.

needs a 13b swap desu famalam

It desperately needs that turbo kit Road Race Motorsports offers that was jointly developed with Suzuki themselves

Ya mum is a shit car.

pretty sure the c4 dominated in autocross (and still does)

Personally, I think that is a very handsome car. Subaru is on a rebound from super boring cars, aesthetically.

is there anything comfier than old motorweek?

Well at least it's engine is the right way. Other than that it's so ehhhh. I can see if it was $30k but 40k for a slightly better than a minivan power to weight ratio? Cmon. By the time you modify it enough to compete with other rwd performance cars it'll be useless on snow and gravel which defeats the purpose of a Subaru.

tldr: You can do a lot better with your money.

I never really liked these until I saw a clean one at a car show.

They look so much better in person.

goddamn shame almost every manual GT-S has either been riced to hell and back, run into the ground, or wrecked

2nd gen Probe. Better than the Shitstang, that's for sure.

I didn't know this car existed until about a year ago, I saw one in front of me in traffic. It looks kind of funky, but seems like it'd be fun to take onto some rough terrain.

>but I always hear about how shit they are
You mean Veeky Forums, right? Veeky Forums is one of the few places where we actually shit on the corvette. It's kind of refreshing in a way. Veeky Forums being contrarian is sometimes kind of nice. Trying to criticize the corvette anywhere else usually ends up with you getting banned.

I have a 2005 Celica GT that I bought in 2006 as my first car. I knew hardly anything about cars back then and I really wish I had gotten the GTS.

uwotm8, the 1.9 GTI is considered one of the best hot hatches ever made and is fucking legendary.

Isn't keeping an older engine around better from the reliability standpoint? You know how good it is and the parts are always readily available.

Factory LSD. Good power. Dirt cheap if you can find one.

...

Yeah, this is more underrated than a pilot

>BMW
>underrated

Fair enough. It is underated for a BMW.

Yea don't do this. I've owned two 3000GTs, which have been assembled over time into one 3000gt. Unless you have 6k to sink into a vr4 after purchase price or 10k to get a built one from a 3si member

I have disassembled and reassembled most of the car and it is nothing short of painstaking. There are no simple parts. Minor mistakes render it undriveable in places that have nothing to do with actual driving.

If/when you lose power steering, you will truly feel what a heavy hunk of shit these are. If I wasn't a fitizen I doubt Itd be operable enough to park.

That being said. I do remember urge first day I bought it and I remember smiling, just from driving. I felt cool. I don't feel cool anymore. But for a few minutes, I wasnt me, and it was great.

The 2002-2012 Jeep Liberty is the most underrated Jeep.

The Chevy Volt is the most underrated daily driver's car.

Try the SportCross instead, user.

No

I don't hate it but at this point I'd either aim for an older STi in jewerery, or get a new WRX since the gap isn't that large between them anymore from what I've read.

Subaru found a formula and they're sticking do it, and it's working for them I don't blame them for not making huge mechanical updates.

agreed, people really under appreciate how fat and ugly those turds are

shitsubishi quality

1988 fiero gt

>It's another "people post shitboxes that no one ever liked" episode

>get a new WRX since the gap isn't that large between them anymore from what I've read.
They still use completely different AWD systems

This.

Suspension and electrical parts are shit though...

...

...

i desperately want to 5-speed swap one of these but i have nowhere near the technical knowledge or skill necessary

i wish those windows had more applications

Do you have the money? Pay someone to do it.

Didn't ford limit the boost in these so it didn't outrun the SVO and the Mustang GT?

>probe

Suzuki is really underrated. Pic related in awd is good, reliable, simple car in the vain of Tercels and old Subarus.

Forgot pic

Saturn Ion Redline, I'm thinking about replacing my current Ion with one

but Veeky Forumss going to hate it because it was designes by a woman and Veeky Forums is a bunch of virgin neckbeards who collect dragon dildos

I friend of mine had a S1600 206(yes the rally spec) and a street S16 with blistein suspension and the same exhaust he had on the S1600.
That thing popped so much I could ride for 15mins without getting an headache.
It was literally a Rally car for the street.

But a 106 GTi has the same engine and it's way lighter.

It's not even a real nsx in the way the r35 isn't a skyline.

this so much. We had one, it didn't blink a eye for all the use it had. Though just the 1500cc front wheel drive.

Also had weird things like a factory bucket inside the spare wheel. Also swear it had better badge's then alot of cars that cost more then it when new. Odd.

I've owned 206rc and confirm both
Fun car but with problems

0-100 in 7 sec and cheap as fuck(outside of USA atleast)
and looks pretty decent

The GTO is cool too

>Post a more overweight car
ftfy :)

same.

>GTO is cool too
yeah too bad op posted some jap shitbox
