Chemical plant is the best Zone followed by Emerald Hill.
Emerald Hill is extremely under-rated. It is the zone that built this franchise.
Yes it's easy, but it's FUN, inviting, and is built from the ground up to get players into the game in a way even other Sonic game first levels are not.
Emerald Hill is the true Hill Zone. Green Hill is overrated.

It looks like it's two legs of a machine.
The furthest instrument is definitely a foot of some kind and the instrument to the left seems to be the same thing but at a different angle.

From how the attachment or "limb" of the furtherest "foot" seems to bend I'd have to say that it looks like as if this is a machine that walks on more than 2 legs. Possibly a spider-esque type of mechanoid.

I just realized something. I'm one of the posters who have been saying that Sonic 06 was bad but not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Additionally, I never really liked Sonic that much as a character, I don't dislike him, I just like a couple other characters much more.

I think I might be biased for 06 because I am looking back on 06, a comparatively recent game, with nostalgia because it is the last game to focus on other characters.

Things will be like I just described but more so.
