Isn't Max supposed to be Yuma? Either way she certainly isn't supposed to be Tifa. Chloe is far more like cloud (or maybe it's supposed to be Zack seeing as though the uniforms black idk) seeing as though she has more of a split personality. How did you come to the conclusion that Chloe is more like Aerith than Kate? I see it as clearly being the exact opposite.

Alt-Max really isn't too different from real Max.
She's just more assertive and higher up on the social ladder. She still cares about her friends and defends them but the difference is she's friends with the Vortex Club there so she sees those opposing them as bullies. Where as in reality the Vortex Club disgusts her because they bully her friends.

I can totally see why Max didn't like who she in that timeline, and I agree with her that the real timeline is much better, but she wasn't completely different and I didn't get any indications she was a terrible person there. Just someone who was fighting for the other side.

I think if there's any links to S1 then it will probably be having the Prescotts as adversaries. Maybe Sean directly or maybe just another relative screwing over/corrupting another town.
They could use the new story to also shed more light on the previous one without really changing anything. As long as they don't reference one ending over another.

I had bought all 5 episodes in a steam sale early last year, back when I hadn't moved out to university yet. I played the first episode. I kinda enjoyed what I played but most of it had passed me by. a month later I played the rest of the episodes in about 3 days and loved it. I have been a yuri fan all my life, so of course I kissed chloe, but stayed in the closet because she had asked me to. I also went for the bae ending immediately. Whats interesting about this is that I didn't even know that there was an actual kiss in one of the endings, i was content enough knowing they'd stay together so I didn't even check the other ending. I thought it all would just stay subtext just like in literally every Yuri show ever. I noticed how rushed the ending was but decided I didn't care since everything from the second half of episode 2 is amazeballs and it had affected me a lot. So like 4 months ago I found /lisg, got alot of artwork and read better then.

the weird thing is I played the other ending using my old save and I didn't even get the kiss. So now I'm replaying the game for the first time.

I initially didn't like Chloe that much, since she gave me shit for answering the call of a suicidal girl.She is selfish but thats kinda the point.

For the bay kiss, you need to kiss Chloe in ep3 and agree with her on at least half of her choices in the game (I kissed her, but didn't agree with her on Kate's phone call and the handicapped fund and I still got it)

Just make sure you alt-f4 IMMEDIATELY after they kiss, then reboot your save and choose bae

I will, thanks for reminding me. But the better then continuity has gotten to be my headcanon anyway. I read and reread it for weeks. It was the most romantic piece of media I've ever consumed and it comforted me in unimaginable ways. especially since it goes to really dark places and is well thought out.

Yeah. I know Michel said a kiss during the storm or in the town wouldn't have been very appropriate, but they could have fit it in and made it meaningful.

Having Chloe ask Max why, them promising to always be together, waiting out the storm, and then realizing they both made it. They kiss, smile at each other, and then say whatever they find in the town they will deal with together.
