I never said you couldn't make a character and do nothing lewd with them, just the fact that it doesn't make them "pure" because purity itself is a silly concept. You can do whatever you want with your character.

I think the problem can be when its their only trait, yes i wont disagree.

However even if your character has depth and backstory it does not mean that they are automatically excluded from lewding more often then a few times, in fact the ones with backstory get lewded more often then the ones without a backstory or depth, and for many of them the lewding happens more than any actual lore talk.

Hell you COULD make it interesting and give a story behind why they are doing a lewd thing or why they are having sex with a character rather than just "look at the sex" but that's just me, i feel it would actually spice up the nsfw scene to have some more creativity behind wanting a lewd
(now before you freak out at me, I'm not saying EVERY SITUATION needs to have a 10 paragraph story on how this lead to a lewd. You can have your baseless lewds, I'm just saying it might be more interesting to have more with stories behind them, show me that character personality that you are proud of and defend when people say "oh your character is just a slut", show me that lore and then show me how you mix it with another persons lore and personality. But that might be too hard for people because it requires more work)

I think you can make a pure character and have them have a lewd and make it work.

For example like the goku chi chi relationship, they are both "pure" and the characters themselves while yes having sex are having it in a loving passionate way, they are not getting super crazy and having radishes shoved up their asses or getting into full dom attire or anything.

There is also the purity that does come from being a virgin character, however you need to have more than just "they dont have sex" because they can not have lewds or not have sex but also be a killer, this does not = pure (unless of course you write them as a pure innocent killer.... but thats another matter)

My point is you can have a pure character in many different facets beyond just they do or dont lewd.
Purity is only silly to those that dont understand how it can be used to tell a good story.

But that's pretty dumb, it's like calling it silly when an official character has a bunch of lewds. What's wrong with wanting to lewd your character after you feel you've done enough with them? Hell, are there any CaCs you have in mind when saying this? What are your requirements for someone to be allowed to lewd their CaC every now and then without it being silly?
They are clearing using purity in a sense of talking about lewds and not your Kenshiro purity, no one has a problem with some pure of heart character

I never did? All I said was that the only issue is when its the character's only trait, if its the only thing that is even remotely developed. Hell, I think its stupid to develop a character based on the lewd shit you want of them in the first place. It really doesn't matter what I think in the end, people will do what they want.

There's a significant difference between official characters and CAC characters, first off we see these people and probably will hear this stuff every other day along with the creator of the character (its not the whole world and there's a significant detatch between the two)

So it can seem a bit overwhelming to see butt posts and "lets do something lewd" on a daily basis from the same character. I might know their backstory but wew if some people dont take it overboard.

Also your putting words in my mouth, i said it was ok to lewd every now and again it just might be nice to have variety if your going to lewd every day or all the time (otherwise like i said above shit can just seem silly if every day you just keep throwing your character at baseless sex stuff or look at the butts oh no sit on face).

No this is more the reason, people dont always respect the fact that a character can be something and may get things forced on them. And then on occasion if they try to stop it or dispel the lewd stuff they may get called out on it or people may go harder

Nobody can force your character to do anything. If you don't want to be lewd just don't be lewd. If other people do lewd things with your character just object to them and say they aren't canon. I feel like that's a tiny bit contradictory, if you make a cac and people start making lewd stuff out if it against your wishes, that's a dick thing to do. people will make lewd stuff regardless of the creators wishes. just look at tumblr and the myriad of hentai sites out there. dosnt matter if said char is lewd within itself or not. its pretty much human nature to lewd up something or someone they may or may not conciously know they want. if person dosnt want it they can say they dont, but that still wont stop people from doing it for themselves

Yeah, sure. It's a dick move to keep pushing lewdness on them if they don't want it, but you can still call them out on it and just continue using your character as you would otherwise. You shouldn't let what other people say affect you that much or they're going to keep doing it to get a reaction out of you. You can't decide how other people react to things after all.

Nah, I'm a Sonicfag and the gameplay looks terrible. Grapplehook is automated devoid of physics or seemingly even input of any kind from the player, CaC and Modern Sonic levels both still have lengthy 2D sections despite Forces shoehorning Classic into the game for that very reason, gadgets look gimmicky, story's being penned by the guy who wrote 06.
