What? The only thing we don't have from P3rd is the warning system. Weapon updates (HBG siegemode too) and the quest pouch have been staples since.

most of it is very soloable. and if you feel like the pressure of soloing is too much, you have a variety of options for AI companions.

you can have a partner, which is sort of similar to a dragon's dogma pawn in that you can create them as you would your own character, equip them, level them up and give them skills. it's VERY good and can even be better than a real player i hear.

then there's the halk, which is a bird type thing that is very similar to a kinsect in how it is leveled up, can evolve into different forms, etc.

if you set a quest to 4 player, any leftover slots will get filled by generic AI with fairly bad gear who are just there to draw aggro.

Because Sony pissed Ryozo off, because the PSP was dying, because the 3DS was coming.
