I checked it out, the game feels pretty good playing from europe, you can also do some cmd wizardry so you only need vpn to start the game then you can return to normal connection

Gameplay wise don't know yet but seems (and feels) exactly like DDDA

It's a bit of a simple game with WoW style combat, 4 skills and Auto Attack on your hotbar.

It's not really dumbed down when it was pretty dumb to start, I guess.

Currently only the Guardian Tower is paid-only access area AFAIK

One time fee of ~$20 USD and you get a new class, 2500 Dragon Shekels, apparently some guardian-only quests, a free set of gear including a weapon, double inventory space (60 slots of unique items), 40 more bank slots and some badge or something.

The guardian class is objectively the best in 1v1 engagements with normal NPCs but the free Mage class is the best damage dealer in raid dungeons

The game is F2P don't let the guardian thing fool you, it's essentially an outfit and a hub zone with some nifty NPCs right now, no playable content or anything of real interest is locked behind a paywall like in BattleOn

Reason why publishers aren't following suit is probably because they don't need to. The paying part of the player base doesn't need a completely fair game.

Because they try to be innovative but just fail. Most of the games which do this aren't truly free aim either because they're almost always hitscan / homing / lockon bullshit even with the aiming system. You can aim off your target and your spells and melee attacks will just automatically hit.

It's just psuedo tab targeting / lockon because latency and hitboxes are too much of a fucking mess to balance in an mmo. It gives the illusion of freedom with your combat which is what some people want.

Drilling is pretty tedious at first but it's kinda comfy once you get used to it.

TM cap is 400, I believe. You can shift your hotkey between 5 sets of 8 hotkeys. I think it's shift+F1-5 or shift+1-5? Been a long time since I've played.
Selling quest items might get you some money once you reach caballa or something. But to make serious dosh, you'd have to do card identification which is probably gonna bore you to death to explain. It comes at around lv70 anyway.

To add on, selling level up gift box is pretty good and probably the most viable method at your level. Or I could download the game and drop you 10m since I have some 80m lying around...

Lv 40 giftbox will give you a 3-day accessory to increase movement speed but it sells for ~2m the last time I played so if you're completely broke, you can sell it.

Level-up giftbox you get at lvl 50 will drop a broad range of cash shop item. But most of them are trash so it's better you sell it to people who have money to burn. It's worth more than lv40 gb but I can't remember exactly how much.
