Overpriced release of a game that still has remnant F2P mechanics, without the DLC that helped alleviate those mechanics. If anything, just go digital. It's not worth more than the $15 it costs.

PMStudios official PR was certainly implying there'd be 100+ songs in the game pre-release, and that the 2.2+2.3+2.4 stuff would be included. This messaging was definitely reflected in the PR. When you advertise a product, you don't mention extra paid content in the same breath as the base content, unless you're aiming for deliberate obfuscation.
The black theme was also free in Japan at release. Don't know why they couldn't do the same here.
And it has F2P mechanics in that you get less points after completing a song, so you either need to buy DLC or grind through every song's difficulty to get the maximum amount of points. Including more songs would alleviate that. You're thinking of Cytus.
