Hey, you know what Marie in the Single Player Campaign area means? It means we can finally judge their size next to a normal Inklings and see if they really are bigger or if it was meant as an illusion in the first game, so you could see them clearly from further away.

Theres probably a very very small part of her jealous that marie won and they used something to amplify that to make her turn against them. If you read the backstory chapters there's a clear tone of showing Callie not being as succesful as she was prior to losing the popularity contest, she even gets a recording session delayed and one of her friends goes to pound Marie instead of her.

A lot more fresh than the goggles in Splat 1 I'll say.

Honestly, most of the official art seems fairly tame. Even the outfits they chose in the end were more restrained compared to some of the other concept designs in the artbook. Early concept art had them wearing miniskirts with exposed midriffs, more rebellious and edgy. The final design gave Callie puffy pants and Marie a skirt with shorts underneath instead of panties, legs covered and a minimal amount of exposed cleavage. Really the only part of their body that actually shows is their shoulders, pits and arms,even their hands were covered by gloves. My guess is that they were trying to keep the CERO rating All Ages so they went with classy over racey

So now at least we know that the story mode is going to be introduced to us similarly like before, also Salmon Run lobby seems to be off in the distance as you can see the lobby front. Let's look for anything else that could tickle our fancy!

In the single player, in order to power up your weapons you needed power eggs. Maybe you will need to work for Grizzco in order to get powered eggs to advance in the single player in addition to some other perks.
