Already bought it on PC and it's not super replayable so I don't know if I'd buy it again. I REALLY love it though, so I'd be tempted a little just to support the devs.

Most other RPGs (especially 8-bit RPGs) are far more restrictive and unresponsive since most of them only take 4-directional inputs, no diagonals.

Combat in general was definitely better in 2 and 3 but 1 had a better story and level design. If the latest game was an exact remake with updated combat and graphics it would easily be the best in the franchise.
