First for Bonhart

he actually linked reddit, what a madman

I'll make a pastebin for the next thread

Old thread:

new Schirru
>11 str, transform a card in your hand into Scorch

at least they give you a one turn warning this time

Okay I think I found the strongest Saskia combo this time.

Brouver->Witchers->Saskia->Roach in turn 1 for a total of 29 strength and 5 deck thinning.

It takes up half of your silver slots though and is pretty unreliable because of the witchers.

Something like Brouver->Ocvist->Saskia->Roach is very reliable and strong though. Which is why I predict that every 2nd ST deck will run those.

Your meta predictions?

>Replace Ciri with Scorch

Do we know if Brouver works the same? They have changed a lot of the leaders.

He either gives you two Silvers choose from Or just plays a random Silver now, i forgot which one of these two is the correct one

Yeah. He summons a silver unit of your choice from the deck. Special silvers are excluded now. So the combos would indeed work

he summons a dwarf from your deck

From the polish stream we also know that there will be basic 4 strength ST units that get played immediately when mulliganed. Meaning you could combo them with Francesca (and Saskia+Roach)

The next meta will be all about tempo plays I feel. Which is sad because from what I gather the NR cards are too slow to keep up with that.

Need to climb from 11 to 15 before the open beta hits. Is this how you build a consume deck these days?

>netdecking tournament decks
user you need to stop

honestly thats pretty lazy from the devs
>ng has 4 str cards that get summoned when revealed
>st has 4 str cards that get summoned when mulliganed
>sk on discard
>let me guess, monsters will consume something from hand for 4 str
>nr will something new and bam, 4 str card

each faction has its own mechanic and they just nailed tempo to it
if its one thing i hate, its copy pasting cards from faction to faction

I didn't wholesale copy the deck. I looked at several for ideas. They're all largely the same anyway.

Or is playing any refined archetype netdecking to you?

ded already

Everyone busy climbing before the reset

what will you guys be doing when the servers go down?

Crying because I couldn't crack top 1k

jerk off to ciri trap porn

sauce me up

trying to keep myself busy with shitposting so i dont kill myself

>Ciaran, 8 str, silver, lock/unlock a unit and move it to his row
So Ciaran locks a unit and steals it, including enemy units?

no, if you play Ciaran on the Ranged row and lock a Melee row unit, it'll pull the Melee row unit to Ranged row

Masturbate into sleep combo or just sleep?

so do you guys think the game is getting better or worse with these changes?

Worse but it isn't really coming as a surprise given CDPR's track record of listening and catering to the wrong people

Better, however quite messy due to the many changes I guess.

just sleep

ded

>CDPR's track record of listening and catering to the wrong people

the fuck are you talking about?

meant for

he probably means reddit and esporters

>tfw opponent forfeits in round 3 with 2 cards each to play because he thinks you have a Warcry, but you actually only have Yen

witchers are good if you are running into scorch early

Speartip is good in the mirror otherwise gravehag can win you games and toad helps with consistency

don't think i have seen double cross often before

consider ciri over avalach

>playing lifecoach's self-wound SK deck, only Ocvist missing
>rank 5, 1.6k
>4 days left to grind 2.3k mmr
will I make it bros?

no
sk isnt good enough

Should've choose control ST with some ambush cards. No one below 4k mmr knows how to play against ambush so you rarely lose.

should have gone with the elves son

felt most comfortable with the SK starter when I started playing last week
watched lifecoach play in the challenger tourney
milled everything else the next day

no biggie though, I'd rather make it as far as I can go with a deck I like than cheese my way up with some FOTM shit

Just take each match slow and you'll make it pretty far I made it to rank 13 with SK.

I really have no conception of how people might play in the higher ranks. up until now I have something like a 80% winrate, and I'm not sure if I play well or if my deck is just way stronger than those of my opponents.

I found this budget deck in one of these gwent sites on the OP, is it good enough for reaching level 10 and early ranks before the open beta? I still have some 800 something scraps after milling the other faction cards, so not enough for too much fancy stuff.

where is ciri?

craft silver rez girl

consider playing frost

drop lacerate

get Sigrdrifa first and then King of Beggars asap
Wild Boar of the Sea and Holger Blackhand are great value cards too
drop the berserker marauders, they're awful
get another raging berserker into it
drop the savage bear too, you dont need it with 3 brokvar archers, the only thing savage bear is good for is Drummond Shieldmaidens, and you dont have any of those

also, Gremist is great value too, forgot him in the first post

I don't have her yet, I'm at a really low level and from what I read I can only get her at 18.
You mean Sigrdrifa? Yeah, seems good.
And I'm not sure I follow the point of frost.

you get a free premium ciri when you join the closed beta

the one you get from leveling up is the normal one

>>And I'm not sure I follow the point of frost.
your bears are immune to frost, so it lets you beat a stacked vran warrior or a mirror match where you cant win by using warcry on your warriors

I already have Holger, so I can choose between Sigrdrifa, WIld Boar of the Sea and Gremist or just King of Beggars with the scrap I currently have. Also if I drop the 3 marauders, the bear and the lacerate I might need to put something else in there.
Also wouldn't the deck get too heavy on the damage dealing or do I start targeting the enemy more with those?

how do i kill the hoog?

everyone and their mum is playing elves to climb the ladder

I want to climb THEM

I don't have it, did you need to do something else? I just got the premium geralt.

I don't know what he's on about. You're only guaranteed Ciri at 18 and the only free premium is Geralt.

Play as them. Ambush is literally uncounterable.

you dont get a premium ciri, you get a premium geralt

I've given up and I'm just fucking around to see what performs well in the Hoog mirror.

I'd say get KOB right now if you have 800 saved up, then get Sigrdrifa, shouldn't take very long to get 200 scraps for her.
those two cards make your deck way more powerful, trust me. I've been in your position a few days ago. the chains they enbale are insane.
you can i.e. play KOB round 2, he pulls out a priestess, the priestess rezzes a bear.
in round 3, Sigrdrifa can rezz KOB, KOB pulls out another priestess, priestess rezzes the bear again, and Drifa gets +2 for the whole thing.
with KOB in your starting hand, you basically want to mulligan every priestess you have becaues youre going to get them anyway.

okay, so I ended up with this and 200 scraps left

would the best way to play this is try to go for geralt and jutta first turn and let it go hoping they give me the card advantage for turns 2 and 3? Or fight for it if I have ressurections on hand?

welp, I went the other direction, so I guess I play until open beta and see if I get 600 scraps for it next

whats so good about Ambush?
I haven't played anyone that used it.

The most common use for ambush is buff up a sapper and then play it as the second to last card in round 3. It can't get scorched or locked. The only way to weaken it is with weather.
Other than that it's annoying to play against.

looks decent, should perform pretty well
you could consider swapping the longships with tordarroch shieldsmiths, you can prevent Scorch killing more than 1 of your cards with them

huh, I dont even know what most ST cards do actually
all I face are NR and Monster decks, am rank 5

You probably won't see ambush much until rank 10.

Here's a fun example.

They handbuff the fuck out of an ambush card with dragoon, and give you a copy with operator, and then use Morenn to kill your copy.

Because an ambush card can't be targeted while it's on the board, there's literally nothing you can do. That's just one fun fun example.

And the ST faction ability is the most obnoxious shit in the game. I wish that CDPR would retroactively revoke seasonal rewards for anyone who plays Hoog.

Where did the elves touch you, user?

Yeah, that seems like a good idea, just had a game where scorch killed both of my bears in round 1. And it's not like the longships are doing much. Thanks.

Is there any archetype where using the max number of cards a good idea? Or is it always a bad idea that just dilutes your deck and makes draws worse?

It's pretty fucking awful right now. Maybe they'll make cards that encourage larger decks later.

huh, i could have sworn you got them both

guess i got her in the first keg and never noticed

So I just faced one of those consume monster decks where the guy keeps eating nekkers and keeps stuff from one round to another. Any way I can deal with that bullshit or do I just consider it a loss against a tier one deck and move on?

If you have 200 scrap then you can get Cyprian Wiley and stop the nekker bullshit.

>Kill/lock the Arachna Behemoth/Vran/Nekker
>Fog on ranged row
>Milk them to use most of the Behemoths and pass the round
>Lacarate/Epidemic
>Cyprian Wiley on the Nekker

Also depends on what deck you are playing, there are plenty of counters but whine and bitch like a redditor is the easier solution.

plz tell me how to counter ST

i'm fucking begging you

atm your only option is to play ST

can i get a decklist that is designed to SPECIFICALLY FUCK HOOG IN THE FACE?

i'll DE everything to make it, the rage is real

Discard SK is pretty strong against ST but you'll get fucked by monster and niffgard.

monsters and who?

Any Monsterfags here?

Do you consider Crones turn 1 and pass turn 2 a good strategy to bait some unnecessary cards from your opponent so you go with card advantage to round 2?

You have 20 strength in one turn and on top of that 6 or 8 strength are carrying on to the next round.

You can argue that Crones are 3 cards but the way I see it was just 1 card from my hand and it forces the opponent to 2 or 3 cards from his hand if he wants to win the first round.

I'm doing this mainly against skellige and nothern realms, scoia'tael sometimes. Of course when it's monster vs monster mirror match I fight more for the first round

It's good if you lose the round but have 2 card advantages. I had something like 80% WR against NR thanks crones r1 pass. It's not really reliable against the other factions.

too risky in most cases

...

Okay explain this to me.

Henselt shits all over Brouver decks. They often just don't stand a chance.
Henselt can frequently outperform the consume machine. So even against Dagon shitters the winrate is positive.
Henselt walks all over every other deck in this meta. Everyone agrees he's in the top 3 decks. Yet I barely see him played. Why?

Letho has gotten pretty scrawny

>Henselt shits all over Brouver decks. They often just don't stand a chance.
>Henselt can frequently outperform the consume machine. So even against Dagon shitters the winrate is positive.

lol nope. I have over 80% WR against Henselt climbing from rank 14 > 15 with both Monster and ST deck lel

So your enemies have been bad players or the sample size is small.

Most people agree that ST is a favorable match up for NR players and I can only agree to that. I rarely lose against Brouver/Consume babies.

>3700+ mmr
>bad players

sure thing shitter

>he thinks there aren't bad players at 3700 MMR
>he calls others a shitter
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Thanks for the laugh.

>30+ henselts players I've played against during my climb at 3700+ are all bad haha XD

sure thing shitter

>le I have 80% winrate brag
>plays Monsters AND Scoiatael
>unironically says lel and lol in 2017
>calls other anons a shitter

I don't know where you came from, whether it's twitch, /hsg/, r/gwent or another godless place, but you should probably just go back there

You play meta decks and are still only at 3700 mmr. You are the textbook definition of a shitter my friend.

>having meta deck automatically places you at max rank and 4000+ mmr

I still have to queue and click next through my wins you know

>my anectdotal evidence is more important than the general consensus
Look at this funny guy over here

Not having rank 15 and 4500 MMR doesn't make you a shitter. Sitting at rank 14 and calling others a shitter does, however, make you prime shitter material. Especially if you post in a thread where almost everyone is rank 15 already

>one guy made a dumb statement about Henselt being """"""""good""""""
>hes not even common in the game at higher mmr despite supposedly being """""""good""""" against the numerous consume and ST decks according to 4chin community consensus

The irony.

>everyone and their mother is packing D-Bombs and Manticore Venom now because of Henselt being too threathening if left unchecked
>Lifecoach repeatedly said that he build every single challenger deck to counter Henselt because he thinks Henselt is super strong.
>He himself brough Henselt and never lost with it
>countless of plebbit posts about "How can I deal with Henselt"
>but he is not good
>at least according to a rank 14 kid who doesn't know how the top of the ladder looks
THAT is irony.

>a fact is a dumb statement
Now this is shitposting

Okay can we PLEASE stop responding to this autist and just discuss something else?

>Henselt shits all over Brouver decks. They often just don't stand a chance.
>Henselt can frequently outperform the consume machine. So even against Dagon shitters the winrate is positive.
>Is actually not that common at the top of the ladder full of ST and consume
>facts

I wonder what could be the reason other than he can't compete for shit against the other two archetype.
