I like the assassinate build, it's fun to assblast chromies the moment they let their guard down

globe quest is the only way to not run out of energy mid combo in mid to late game.

I take the hemorrhage talents and assassinate/death from above for mobility, smoke bomb for ult and nightslayer for extra stuns/mobility.

Its more or less designed to be that way. It literally used to be impossible to have more than a 2 level lead.

Depending on map mechanics, level leads are pretty pointless.

Well I ended up going 3/12/4.25 in a brutal loss.

I tried split laning but since the AI doesn't take over like I thought they did it was a mess. By level 10 I just grouped up since two of our lanes were being soaked.

Neat concept but I personally am going to suck at it.I can do intense map awareness while playing one character but juggling 3 is too much, and I can play a very good Abathur but this isn't going to work

When you QM with Vikings, you have to inform your team that they need to group as 4 to push a lane.

You have one viking in each lane. One lane will also have your 4 teammates.
You push that lane as hard as you can. In order to contest it, the enemy team will have to decide whether they let you just push in their forts for free and soak the other lanes, or try to contest your team, leaving the other lanes open and unsoaked; giving you a large exp advantage.
Once you hit 10 you can start participating in teamfights. You should be reasonably far ahead.When there aren't any objectives up you should be trying to get as much soak as you can.
When Objectives spawn bribe camps in the lanes as far away from the objectives as you can so you get the most value out of them. IE: giants on Cursed Hollow. This will force the enemy team to commit to objective or lose structures to the push in the meantime.

Sonya is a bruiser, not a tank. Shes also lackluster
Arthas if you have a lot of right clickers on the enemy
Anub if you have a lot of mage

I'd say anub is overall better though it VASTLY depends on team, map and such. Anub is pretty safe though. With anub you are the initiator, so your bread and butter is

Indestructible generally, storm shield if you notice the enemy has an easy time ignoring you and going for your team
