More like game dead this year.
It's on life support with zero content in the pipeline. All it has coming are meme notepad edits that nobody asked for, and the devs can barely keep the servers functional. The developers only purpose at this point is to suck the blood from the corpse. Any token developers capable of doing more than spreadsheet edit are likely diverted to H1Z1 at this point, to try and save the sole success of the company from death at the hands of PU:Battlegrounds.
