<$12,000What are some mega dope ass sweet rides

Under 12k USD

I crossed out the Lancer because CVT.
Want at least a 2.0L 4 banger. Want reliable. Auto is fine, 4 doors is fine.

3k civic with a few simple mods

SC400

Unironically this.
It crosses off all your boxes. If you want to put a turbo on it you can with plenty of money to spare. With a small turbo you can still keep it a s a reliable daily driver.

C5 Corvette

Depending on you're area I would look into a 135i without mods

06 - 07 WRX STi
Make sure the mileage is lower than 100,000
Make sure it hasn't been riced to shit.

>06-07 WRX STI
>under 100,000 miles
>less than $12k
Pick two, unless they're especially cheap where you live.

3k civic with no mods.

A JZ swapped RX-8.

Caliber SRT4
can be had with 80-100k miles in nice shape for $7500-9000.
Quick cars, handle good for essentially a minivan, stout drivetrain, roomy and fairly comfortable.
The entire drivetrain is SRT so it's pretty solid. The chassis is Chrysler though so expect some finnicky stuff down the road there. Mine only had 77k and the driver side power door lock went bad, and the horn had to be replaced. All under warranty though. Otherwise I had no issues in the 15k miles I drove it.

Was a ton of fun too even when not getting traction. Blowing tires off from a rolling start in 2nd-3rd gear in a minivan is pretty satisfying.

Just a mailed tune from Realtune (MS1K V3) will take a stock 280hp caliber to around 320-330hp as the stock tune is very conservative and besides adding some timing and dialing in the fuel - it also takes the boost from the stock 11-12 up to 17psi.

I think they're great cars that don't have the boyracer tax that Mazda Speeds, WRX/STis, and Evos all do. They make good daily drivers.

C5 with 100k miles

Smog era muscle car

You can easily get a higher mileage Fiat 500 abarth for that price. Chicks seem to be digging it desu.

But then you're stuck in a dodge...you a nigger by chance?

Nissan 240SX and put mods on it
Foxbody with good mods or newer one without
Older corvette
90s firebird 5.7 or camaro
Lexus with a 2jz

turd gen mazda3 although under 12k is a little optimistic.

Here in Houston 12k will get you an Abarth with under 40-50k miles easy.

Was in the same position as you but I went with a mazda3 sedan. Think I made a good choice although some days I wish I got the lancer.

>This

Got my 2002 at 70,000 miles for 12.5k but I'm on the border of Oklahoma and Texas so they're everywhere.

Goat

FG Ford Falcon XR6, or if you're looking for a bit more power then a BA XR6 turbo.

Recommend the FG over the BA though because it has the more reliable, better ZF gearbox in it.

It isn't a charger or challenger

Turbodiesel Golf with a remapped ecu and Evry mod.

330ci

where are these fabled sti's?

6 cylinder 5 series or 3 series

Viper.

This.

This too.

Not bad.

Literally why would you even?

>spent another like $15,000 making it not a piece of shit

>12k budget
>still looking at 4 bangers
>even considering a lancer

Please, either kill yourselfor mive to europe.
