1) 15 Flash Bombs should be plenty to kill him.
2) His tail is technically a weakspot as it takes 45 cutting damage

Depending on your definition of top-tier, of course.
You could include LS, GS, Hammer, SA, Lance, IG, Bow and LBG, if you'd like. HH isn't even that bad at the moment.
Gunlance and Prowler are embarrasingly bad, Prowler especially.

Gougarfs/Gold and silver lavasioths have linked AI, cannot be fought separately, and perform tandem attacks
for example gougarfs do wrestling moves, sometimes involving one throwing the other.

Twin lavasioths also help eachother out when one is downed/statused in addition to tandem attacks.

Totally forgot about them. they were fucking great as well.
I dont think a trio exists yet, that could be fun.

Well the Seltas species is still lacking proper "legs" for a proper full humanoid mech combination, so I wouldn't be surprised if MH5 introduces the Seltas King.
