I think it should have been an existing character, but at the same time I am still excited for it.

I think it could be fun. Some of the options look interesting at least. The models look nice too.

I'd still take a new/existing character over it though. Like why not Tails? Tails can run pretty fast (in the classic games he's as fast as Sonic and in Adventure he's just generally pretty quick) and is known for using gadgets and tools to fight just like the new custom character. I feel like Tails would have been a good fit. Plus if he kept his double jump + hover from Sonic Boom or could glide or something, he could bring a unique platforming experience to the game that you can't find with Classic/Modern Sonic

Not a fan, should've absolutely been an existing character or at least an option to just swap out one of Sonic's friends if you don't want an OC.
