Combo decks aren't inherently a bad thing.
The problem is when they are literal solitaire and most of its match ups are 80/20 or 20/80.
I honestly don't even have a problem with the solitaire part. My problem is with the fact that the deck wins and loses based almost exclusively on the matchmaking algorithm and that its only counter is "just play another deck bro".

No, because its match ups are ridiculously one sided. The most skillful DShift players will probably steal a few more wins from Aggro and have an even more absurd winrate against Control, but they won't change the fact that the deck still almost instantly concedes to Aggro and rapes Control.

I play a lot of combo memes and honestly feel that winning or losing by managing to mulligan draw trainee-well-creed or having maid leader-goblin mage-evolved gawain-Cursed genal-assassin-hand vomit for 11+ dmg or even just tyring ramp/reduce/fetch into a thicc neptune drop then stabilize with grea and simalacrums into more neptunes and olivia is bad design.

No, their bounce and reduction is retarded.. It could have worked as a 3pp but 4pp is death. They don't even have a Galretto expy to protect cards like Robin hood so they actually do something

It's kind of generous. What you're not realizing is that most cards that aren't finishers need 3x to be remotely consistent. Furthermore, there are many, many golds that rely on a deck that facilitates their use. This often means a lot of other golds and legos. So what happens is you get stuff like a petal fencer but you're still some 40k vials too early to do anything competitive with her.

What's the issue? I always queue with Dshift in Masters and I got over 50% winrate, deck is not bad and you only lose to really fast shadows, but most of the time Dragon are your best match up.

Try D-shift, it is not that bad. You either lose to a really fast niggers or your hand is extremely bad when match up with a dragon.

Until I got into Shadowverse, I knew nothing about the franchise. Only until recently did I learn pretty much every card from SV is from either Granblue or Bahamut. I skipped over the Bahamut series when they aired because they were mobage adaptations, and I'd only ever liked two of them Leviathan and Kemono Friends, but I've been made aware that the shows may not actually be bad thanks to Granblue. Is the Bahamut anime any good, or is it one of those "You need to have liked it from the start" kind of shows?

I don't play either of the mobage, and I can get into both seasons just fine. The storytelling is good since it is original instead of sticking to either game.
