If you're afflic, go do the challenge. You don't need the ring, portal pants, none of that, just a 2 2 2 3 2 1 1 build. Have your infernal tank the first guy and keep dots up on the effigy, then mortal coil him around 21.7 mil health when you hear "Useless!" then you blow all cds and focus the effigy. It sounds retarded, but you can kill the add this way and avoid ever getting chased by him the entire fight. I didn't have a single hand spawn or demon portal come up, became a non-challenge at that point. Do it before it gets patched. Blizzard doesn't seem to care about the infernal tanking in P1, but they will when they realise that combining the mortal coil and the soul effigy to skip the majority of the encounter cheeses the entire thing.
