Celica and Valbar should be able to tank all the gargoyles by themselves with some healing support. Use your mages to blast them from range and have the pegs chase them down.

Not him, but I also have trouble in that map in hard. My 3 peg knights are lvl10 with a average of 12atk without any equipment. They are basically dealing nearly no damage and only my dread fighters and celica can put up a proper fight.
