There's a shit load of builds. There's a couple ways you could go. You could go with twin turbo's and turn it into a 1000hp+ highway or half mile beast or spend that 40k on sticky tires, suspension, weight reduction and some extremely aggressive aero.

I was not referring to a 2018.
I was thinking of a C5 z06, dropping in a LS with a blower, or some form of engine/blower combo. All shop fees considered, it should be around 40k. Maybe more if you beef other things up for longevity.
