Newfag here, still slowly building my first grid. Question: Once complete with 8 Tia guns + Baha weapon (All uncapped and max skilled) will that grid allow me to solo all omega raids or is that still not possible unless you have elemental advantage?
It depends on your team comp at that point, or how fucking fast you can knock them straight into break. Specific characters have various specialties that will be better against certain fights. I wouldn't ever recommend fighting Colossus Omega as a wind team, but Levi is made easier with characters that allow you to survive Perilous Tidefall. I imagine Carmelina would be great against Chev, and Lennah would be useful when you need to get rid of Chev's zombify.

The fate where you fight them is what unlocks the 5* process to begin with. Then once you gather all the materials and reduce the gold relic you can do another fate where you play as the character and fight the weapon, and that unlocks the actual 5* uncap itself.
Then I wouldn't ele change the bow to dark just for that. I did that at 95 with sidewinde and Thor. Thors debuffs with the ability that deals damage for each debuff makes the fight really easy.
