Yaklin pissed us off. Took my work truck in for work and they didn't have us in the system anymore because we bought the truck when it was Bobby Ford. So we didn't have an account and had to pay with a credit card instead of a p.o.
Not a major deal but it was annoying

That sound dumb af, why wouldn't they have the exact same system and transfer records etc?? I heard about some of the headaches the service department caused, but I didn't work back there so I dunno shit.

Worst part was all the staff were friendly AF and rly wanted to help ppl, but the people actually running the shit were shady. Glad to be out of that business.

I don't blame you for getting out of it. I've got a couple friends over at chastang and it seems like they're always stressing about money

Yeah, you can make good money but it's so up in the air. You'll make $0 for two weeks putting in 12hr days, then you'll make bank one week, and you're so miserable you blow it all in a couple of days, then you're back to stressing. Fuck it all.

I wanna work with my hands, actually feel productive again. Maybe I'll go back to kitchen work or something, always liked that. Who knows.

It's been a long time since we had a hurricane here, how long it lasts is not a certainty and nor is the strength of it.
Many areas will get flooded which means many of our cars will get flooded too. Whatever precautions need to be done, do them tonight.
Jack up your cars if you have to.

I don't think it's the force of the storm that's suppose to be bad for us, that's for ppl down the coast. It's the days and days of rain, grounds gonna fill up fast then it's gonna flood.

Worth noting this isn't the actual storm yet, making landfall tonight as a Cat3. Then it's gonna weaken as it moves over our direction over the next day or two.
