I don't understand how it's even possible to die as Zarya in this game mode. Even when you're being focus fired, if you're being healed and are managing your bubbles correctly, you can easily run away.

It's like two different persons, one is a boy who fake smiles and hates being here and other is pretty girl, who is excited. Interesting.

Sombra's okay though.
Especially her ult, it's invaluable in denying opponents their low cooldowns and removing endless shileds, especially from Winston.
Likewise, Hanzo is as worthless as always, but his ult is the only reliable way to combo with Zarya. And there's always a Zarya.

Also, some characters work good not because of their lowered cooldowns, but because of the nature of this mode. Pharah and Torbjorn get jackshit from cooldowns, but because the game is an endless deathball clusterfuck on the payload no one pays any attention to a Turret in the corner or a floating Pharah and they can dish out damage unbothered.

well firstly i just grinded out the mechanical skill on hanzo in QP. put about 200 hours into him before trying ranked seriously. in season 3 i put about 30 hours into comp and made it to 2600sr, stopping after getting fed up with the absurd attitudes of teammates. in hindsight i shouldnt really blame them, i was instalocking never switching hanzo after all.

secondly watching streams will give you a lot of great info, ESPECIALLY on positioning.

lastly i changed some things with my actual physical setup that made a huge difference.

It has no cooldown so you can keep placing turrets that have 300 HP and they'll be too annoyed to take it down leaving you to put a turret in a nice spot far away where it'll slowly poke them to death.
