She sheer amount of plays that can be made with the grenade makes it easily one of the most skill intensive abilities in the game. No other ability so perfectly lives between utility, offense, and defense.

Newbies got one free hero from a set of Jaina, Muradin, and Tyrande. Jimmy is part of a referral package (which I think still exists), so I really doubt that the pool of available heroes for newbies is going to be much different or better.

So I want to get into this game. Never been a fan of mobas until I tried out heroes for the overwatch stuff. I find I'm having fun and doing well as auriel and Lucio but was hoping to also branch out into some specialists. Despite the bullying of the slug, I do like the idea of a well played abathur or running a probius for that big damage he can put out if done properly while still supporting the team.

Who would you recommend, /hotsg/, as a specialist that if done well you'd love to have on your team? I'm willing to go the length to learn the hero.
