I could understand why you might feel that way. However, I think you're a little too down on yourself. Reality has nothing against you. Reality is just the laws of physics that dictate how the world in which you live functions.

In terms of how you fell for Chihiro, it was the same thing that made me like Ann. The difference is that, from the start, I acknowledged that I wanted to be like Ann in that situation. I'm the guy that usually posts "I'm so proud of Ann" (which I am), I want to nurture her, or someone like her, to grow in the same way that I would want myself to grow. Again, the idea of being the rock, the foundation for myself and someone weaker than myself to grow. However, to take the metaphor further, if I'm the foundation, and I see that what's being built on that foundation isn't working properly, I have to look to myself and think, "Am I the one doing it wrong?"

I don't want to depend on a woman for anything other than a mirror of my own actions. My wife is someone who can take care of me, my house, and my family, but it's my job to nurture her as a woman too. I'm not looking to her for help in the same way that you are, I'm not expecting her to save me I want to be her knight in shining armor, her foundation, because I know that her and I are walking the same path. As I said, it comes back to my own responsibility and my own understanding of myself.

For me it's Nanjo. Persona 1 was the fourth Persona game I played (number three being Arena), and I fell in love. Number one still remains number 1 in my heart.
