If I remember right, they were SL140 invaders, so you only run into them if you're invading anywhere from SL126-174. Vicars took advantage of this by building SL170 characters and being the only ones that they could reliably invade.

You could also just be running into guys that were attempting to get in on the action but missed out due to how quickly it died (or never even started in the case of PS4 and X-Bone), and are using repurposed characters.

Game is too shit for anyone to want to play through it more than twice.

Int can affect the three Dark Miracles (the two Gnaws, plus Lifehunt, maybe also Dead Again but not sure), but only up to a soft cap of 45/45. Crystal Chime also scales with both, but it fucking sucks and again softcaps at 45/45.

Faith affects casting Sorceries with certain catalysts, but those scale only with Faith and still require the Int to cast.

Pyromancy softcaps at 40/40, no point in going over that.

There's absolutely no point in going 60/60 since you'll be well above any meaningful meta, and you need the proper rings to get the spell boosts anyways.

I haven't used that weapon since my first DS2 run.
