Well you start off as if you were from the past by going Pudka mid + Rushing bottle like in the good old days.
1st of all, don't use your skill points instantly. Reason being is that sometimes rot can be more useful thank hook. For e.g if Crystal maiden overextends, your rot will be infinitely more better than that hook. Basically save your skill points at first, incase something happens.
You don't seem to control the creepwave. As a melee, what you want to do is right click attack the enemy hero, to draw creep aggro onto you. Once the creeps are charging at you, run to your ranged creep and A-click him (as if you were denying). What this does is it kills the ranged creep, thus his wave will push the lane, and you'll be at a safer place to last hit, while his last hitting will be more risky. Also, you can use your rot to secure last hits that you missed after right clicking.
A problem is you also didn't place the ward until 4 mins in, that you had in your inventory, you might've been ganked and fucked. That ward can potentially save you from dying.
The shadow fiend was pretty fucking shite, but you did a good job at dealing with him as a pudge, although you were destroyed regards to last hits/denies. I'd say you can garner way more use out of pudge as a Support/Roamer.
