I feel like the only thing really holding Tychus back is that his dash sucks.

I've been trying to git gud with him, and I feel like I have gotten decent, but I just keep feeling he's right at the cusp of being really solid. Like I try really hard with him, but I got more consistent with Guldan in like 3 times of playing him.

I think he ought to have 2 dash charges to start and just up the cool-down to like 14. That or successfully landing all of overkill should refresh dash. Maybe add like a smidge more distance. Change that and I think he'd be literally perfect. Also make ODIN not take for thousand years to transform.

It just seems like, in order to be effective, he has to really present himself to the enemy team and for a long duration, without much means escape/dmg mitigation.

I feel like his design is half way between "stand and deliver" and "I'm a mover and a shaker" and his kit says "I need a way out or an Ice Block" and after ODIN lost it's 2nd HP bar, he doesn't really have it. Maybe if ODIN had one more move "Ejector seat" It can be used aggressively or in retreat, it just shoots Tychus out a little ways.

Grenade is for some reason fun, simple and perfect. I don't now why I like it so much.

Tychus is literally a MUH TANKSHREDDER, so don't pick him if the enemy team has no warriors.

Is the reward rarity system different in this game different than other blizzard games? I've only played 3 days with AI teammates and I've gotten 3 legendaries: Ragnaros, Judgement Charger, and Neon Cyb'arak

the loot boxes in this game are really solid, mostly because of the amount of legendarily and the fact it's a ded game

What rank are you?

I play Tychus semi-frequently at masters level and clear house. The biggest thing is, knowing when to go balls deep and when to just harass at range with grenades/overkill.

If you get Relentless Soldier at 7 and ODIN at 10, you have an effective 50 armor if you're both ulting and have recently gotten stunned, which will happen a lot since you're the damage dealer.

Never go Drakken Laser Drill, never go In The Rhythm. Even against tanks. Master Assassin and ODIN is just too good to pass up.

Basically, you just need to improve your decision making. He's a lot harder to go full hog with due to the nerf to his self healing, but he's still capable of doing that if your healer is competent/your positioning is not terrible.

Also, dashes have a fairly forgiving cooldown, but do NOT try to reduce that cooldown further with the talent at 1: always pick the quest talent, period. The other two encourage bad play.

Just play Greymane if you want attack speed. Honestly adter the need to his healing and range it's probably better to play Greymane either way.

Yes, the 1 quest talent is 100% worth putting up with, as long as you roam to get those globes. At about 10%, you're going to be doing very well for maneuverability, and it only gets better from there.

Quest - Master Assassin - Relentless Soldier - ODIN - Neosteel or Spray'n'Pray depending on their lineup - Titan Grenade - Big Red Button or Bob and Weave.

Notice, every single talent on that chain - save Titan Grenade because nothing on 16 fits the bill - can function within ODIN. That's important. It makes your ult better, which no other hero in the game has.

Oversimple is casual though, while I do play hots with friends, I prefer to play Dota.
