As someone who didn't like all the bullshit extra stuff in Fates, I loved this game. Online isn't necessary at all. It's a very quirky and unique game when compared to other FE games, but it's also got that old FE feel where the scope is restrained and they aren't trying to make The Biggest Fire Emblem Ever(tm) like they did with awakening and fates.
