pretty much, although sometimes you could have prevented some of that by applying more early pressure into lanes you know would have benefitted from it.

as far as the rest of the game goes, you can try to just waveclear and turtle for a while and minimize the number of objectives you give up. There is a non-zero chance that the enemy only knows how to function in the lane phase and just repeatedly gives up kills in picks and then team fights, causing the rubber band mechanics to bring you back into the game.

If my passive isn't going off because there's nowhere else to put tentacles, let me hold charges of it so that if a fight forces me to move elsewhere or I try to roam I can immediately fill the new area with tentacles too and have ways to hurt people aside from my ult.

You need at the very least masteries for Shy jungle, nevermind runes. Her first few clears aren't too healthy and the only reason she can sustain through is usually because she can clear at double the speed of other junglers so she takes less damage.

You need at least level 20 for T2 runes really.

Fiora hands down. Akali still gets shafted in teamfights and becomes worthless in mid to late game. Unlike fiora, if she dies in laning phase you're pretty much out for most of the game. Fiora can just dominate much harder and more effeciently.
