If by "loot council works" you mean that it gears up the cool kids, then yes. Maybe if you had focused more on gearing up everyone instead of funneling gear, or using LC for its intended purpose (as in maximizing raid dps, not maximizing discord-celeb egos) you wouldn't be wiping on garr three times in a row.
The argument has never been that loot council is bad, the argument is that loot council is very bad for a Veeky Forums guild and especially MoH.

But congrats on MC clear time server rank #17, that's pretty badass and clearly couldn't be done with an inferior loot distribution method.

only reason guilds use DKP instead of LC is because nobody would join a guild ran by friends who just feed each other loot. Nihilum has no trouble filling 40 raid slots, on the contrary they're benching a dozen people every raid. they would actually benefit from more whiny underage shitters leaving.
